In honor of Mother's Day, I decided to add a new section to our store...which I do consider my baby in a strange and non-cuddly way. So, without further ado, we are announcing the addition of a blog to our site...(pause for thunderous applause).
Since starting this store, I've become a bit obsessed with the concept of repurposing/reusing items. I've done two DIY projects that both turned out great, and I'm now always on the lookout for things around the house, around my parents house, at thrift stores, etc...that I can jazz up a bit and give a new life to...either in my house, or someone elses! I love taking something that was just sitting around collecting dust, and a few days later, putting it to use and saying, wow - that looks great and now I don't have to go spend money on this item! It's a wonderful feeling!
I'll be highlighting a DIY project (either by me or someone else) weekly...sometimes they'll be simple projects, othertimes something a bit challenging and complex. And don't worry, I'm not so proud that I won't highlight my failures when I have them...which I'm sure I will! So keep checking back here and be sure to let me know what you think! Oh, and if you have a DIY project, or saw one that you loved...let me know! I'd love to include it here and give you the shoutout you deserve!!!
